Whare Aahuru – Emergency housing Support

Help finding safe emergency housing and next-step support.

Our Whare Aahuru service helps whaanau find safe, short-term housing when they need it. We support people who are moving out of the health system, justice services, or child protection services and need somewhere stable to stay. Our team is here to make things easier, reduce stress, and help you feel supported by talking to the right people to make it happen.

Our kaiaawhina work with you to understand what you need right now. We help you organise your move into emergency housing, and connect you with other support like benefits, budgeting, health care, or cultural services. We also stay in touch after you move in, so you’re not doing it alone.
