Aukati – Gambling Harm Prevention Service

Support to reduce gambling harm for you and your whaanau.

Our Aukati service supports individuals and whaanau who are worried about gambling or already feeling its impact. We offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, get support, and build new skills to help you move toward a healthier, more balanced life. Our approach is kaupapa Maaori, strengths-based, and focused on protecting the wellbeing of you and your whaanau, in a safe and non-judgmental way.

Our kaimahi work with you to understand what’s going on and what support you need right now. We can help you make a simple wellbeing plan, learn new ways to manage stress, and strengthen your cultural, social, and community connections. Support can be one-on-one, with your whaanau, or in a small group with others who share similar experiences. We also check in regularly so you don’t have to do things alone.
